We’re looking for a Head of SAP / SAP Manager to take ownership of our client's SAP environment and ensure it supports the long-term success of the business. This is a senior leadership role that will involve working closely with key stakeholders to deliver effective solutions that meet current and future needs as the business makes plans on how they bring their SAP estate onto S/4HANA.

You will lead a team of SAP professionals, oversee upgrades and improvements, and ensure that all applications perform efficiently. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, giving you the opportunity to shape direction, influence business outcomes, and drive innovations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Full responsibility for the SAP landscape across the organisation
  • Shaping and delivering technology solutions that align with business priorities
  • Leading SAP upgrade and migration projects, managing risk and ensuring smooth delivery
  • Driving enhancements and continuous improvement while maintaining system reliability
  • Overseeing daily operations to ensure systems run efficiently and meet user needs
  • Managing team resources, setting priorities, and ensuring project timelines are met
  • Establishing and promoting best practices across development and testing processes
  • Leading, mentoring and developing a skilled and motivated team
  • Managing third-party suppliers and ensuring high-value, high-quality delivery

  • Proven leadership experience in the SAP landscape 
  • Background in managing SAP technical and functional teams
  • A strong grasp of technology strategy, architecture and solution delivery
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to align technical work with business objectives
  • Able to liaise with technology and the business. 
  • Experience working with vendors and managing partner relationships
  • A solid understanding/ experience of SAP technology and associated roadmaps 
  • A proactive mind-set, strong analytical skills and sound decision-making
